Confirmation Sunday
This year’s confirmands, Sofia Dahlgren and Owen Watts, stand with Bishop Kevin Jones as he guides them through the Affirmation of Baptism on May 4. We were also blessed to receive Holy Communion from Bishop Jones.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart... In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Graduation Sunday
On May 11, Pastor Gordon helped us celebrate our two graduating seniors, Mitchell Ackerman and Harley Charlson. His message, “paying attention will lead you to the obvious,” is one that we can all take to heart.
In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth. (Psalm 71:1,3,5)
